Founder & Consultant Ophthalmologist, Eye Surgeon
Dr Vasantha Gowri established Aadithya Eye Care in 1999 and has spent over 25 years caring for the eyes of families across Chennai, from a child’s first spectacle prescription to cataract and retinal care for older patients.
She earned her MBBS from Medical College, Calcutta and completed her postgraduate diploma in ophthalmology at Madras Medical College, Chennai. Her practice is built on careful examination, clear explanation and treatment that respects each patient’s comfort and circumstances.
Alongside general eye care, she takes a special interest in dry eye care and vision therapy, and is actively involved in community health initiatives such as Yuva Darshan and Yuva Swasthya, taking vision screening and eye-health awareness to young people across the region.
