Suitability matters more than anything. Before recommending LASIK, we carry out a detailed screening of your spectacle power, corneal thickness, tear film and overall eye health, and we will tell you honestly if another option suits you better.

The eye is numbed with drops, so you feel pressure rather than pain. Mild grittiness or watering for a day afterwards is normal and settles quickly.
The corneal reshaping is permanent. Your vision can still change later in life from natural ageing, such as presbyopia or cataract, which are separate from the LASIK correction.
We will explain why and discuss alternatives such as SMILE or modern contact lenses, so you still have a clear path forward.
